David grew up in Reno, Nevada, with a passion for the outdoors. Camping with his family or building things with his hands, David knew he always wanted to work with the natural environment. He took ceramics in high school and was a natural right from the start. Even after the almost 20 year hiatus between then and now, David retained his innate knowledge of clay. He's truly a master of craft in both wood working and pottery.
Amber grew up in Orange County, California. While she spent significant time outdoors growing up, she always called herself an "indoor hippie." Upon meeting David, the world opened again and she found the joy of nature. Amber loves getting her hands dirty whether with clay or paint often with a sewing machine close behind. She loves pottery because of the continual life lessons it teaches her.
There's no right or wrong, there just is.
David has always loved working with his hands. Woodworking has been a natural fit with his steady hand and patient demeanor. These artisan-crafted wooden pottery ribs are made from recycled wood pieces. The wood ranges from the American classic, cherry to the rich hues of black walnut.
